CUSTOM PAINTING - REQUEST QUOTE
With numerous requests for owning an HO Scale GLE or GLLX locomotive, I am introducing the GLE Custom Painted Locomotive or Rolling Stock Services. This service will allow interested parties to 'acquire' GLE equipment either directly or via supplying their own equipment for painting. The rolling stock colors will be based on current practices - boxcar red for most equipment; GLE blue for intermodal wells; grey or boxcar red for covered hoppers; and four variations of paint for locomotives:1. the 1985-1993 solid frame stripe all-blue; 2. the 1993-2003 dashed frame stripe blue with white 'face' (includes Operation Lifesaver); 3. the 2004-Present dashed frame stripe with logo, nose 'wings' and web address; or 4. the Alternating Current paint scheme for SD70MAC, SD80MAC, and all General Electric AC versions. The latter scheme is saved specifically for the ACs.

Painting will be done as time allows, generally no longer than two months or so. Payment must be received at the time of placing an order.
